Symptoms/Travel: We are asking that if you or anyone in our household has any of the symptoms linked to COVID-19, including cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose and sore throat, to please stay home and join with us online. Also please stay home if you have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days or have been in close contact with someone who is a confirmed case or possible case of COVID 19.
Physical Distancing: Please maintain a physical distance (2 meters) from other members outside of your household/cohort at all times. This includes outside of the building.
Masks: Please wear one. We are a public building and as such we are legally required to wear masks. This is for all members 2 years of age and older. Remember we wear masks to protect each other. If you have a medical reason for not wearing a mask and would still like to attend please contact us ahead of time so we can make the appropriate arrangements. Our worship team will remove their masks on stage only during the song portion of our service as special measures have been taken to keep everyone safe.
For more information please visit: https://www.edmonton.ca/programs_services/emergency_preparedness/masks.aspx

We do encourage you to register your household prior to Sunday to ensure we have enough room. Please visit our Facebook event page to register – or email officevpcc@gmail.com. - or go to the Events Page on this website.
Guests: Guests are more than welcome and encouraged to join us on a Sunday morning. Again we do encourage you to register if possible however for those who have not been able to register we will do our best to welcome you into our service if room allows.
Kids: For the safety of our leaders and your kids we will not be opening our Children’s Ministry at this time. We do ask that the kids sit with their parents. We also will not be handing out activity sheets so please bring quiet activities for your kids. We will keep you updated should our Children’s Ministry re-open. Please know we encourage and enjoy having kids in our service and they are very welcome to join us.
Bathrooms: At this time bathrooms are closed. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
Check In: Our Doors will open at 10:40 a.m. We ask that you please allow yourself time to check in and find your seat. Someone will greet you at the door with some hand sanitizer and please be prepared to answer a couple personal questions as well as questions about travel, symptoms and exposure. This information is collected for contract tracing purposes only and will only be kept for 2 weeks. As you enter please respect social distancing as well as any signs and arrows.
Greeting: We recognize that this one is hard. We do ask that everyone refrain from hugging, handshakes and even fist bumps. Feel free to get creative in how you greet each other avoiding anything that deals with physical touch. Hey why not try bowing.
LIVE Streaming: Our Live Stream will begin at 10:55 a.m. We do ask everyone who is attending in person to please be in their seats at this time. We also ask that the noise level during this time is kept low out of respect for those who are tuning in online. At this time our streaming capabilities pick up any noises in the auditorium.
Seating: Please cooperate with our First Impressions Team as they do their best to seat you. There will be different sizes of seating sections depending on the size of your household. We do ask that you sit in the section that meets your household the best. We also ask that you please do not change seats.
Singing: A portion of our service will include congregational singing. Masks are required at all times especially when singing. Please help us keep each other safe by wearing your mask while worshiping our Lord. The worship team will joyfully lead you in song. Measures have been taken so that they will not be wearing their masks up on stage only.
Sanitizer: We will provide sanitizer throughout the building. Particularly you will find it at our entrance and exit. Please feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer. We do ask that you sanitize your hands upon and entering and exiting the building.
Entrance and Exit: You will enter the building through our Main Door which is on the west side of the building. Our exit will be through the door located on the North East side of the building just off from the stage.
Dismissal: Following the service we will keep the facility open until 12:45 p.m. You may visit with other households in the auditorium or in the parking lot as long as social distancing is maintained at all times. To avoid congestion and loitering please do not gather in the foyer.
We do thank everyone for their cooperation in keeping everyone safe and we are so excited to be welcoming all of you back. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our Leadership Team will continue to monitor the situation and will update you with any new developments. To keep up to date with what the church is doing, feel free to check back on our website, follow us on Facebook, or sign up to receive occasional emails.
Again we are so excited to be coming together in community with you whether you choose to join us in person or online via LIVE stream on Facebook.
